Sustainability

At Playtime Prints, sustainability isn’t a buzzword, it’s the only way we believe business should be conducted. For us, it’s not a luxury or nice-to-have. It’s a baseline.

From fabric to fit, every decision we make is rooted in responsibility - to our planet, to the people who make our clothes and to the children who wear them.

What we’re made of

All of our pieces are crafted from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. That means no harmful chemicals, better soil health and safer conditions for the farmers who grow it.

Our manufacturing partner is SEDEX accredited and every stage of production, including the dyeing process, follows strict eco-conscious practices. The factory uses a Zero Liquid Discharge system, which recovers and recycles 99% of the water used in the dyeing process.

Better for the planet. Better for the people. Better for your clothes.

Designed to last (and last again)

We don’t believe in throwaway fashion. Our clothes are designed to be loved, lived in and passed on - again and again.

They feature:

Generous fits and adjustable features (like turn-ups and multi-height straps) which help each piece last longer for every child.

Unisex appeal allowing them to be easily shared between siblings and friends.

High quality checks and standards - we want these clothes to see playtime after playtime.

What’s next?

We’re working on further ways to support circularity including initiatives to help you recycle or rehome your Playtime Prints pieces when they’ve outgrown their original owners. Watch this space.
